Please be advised that the fall 2007 quarterly membership meeting of the White Rock Boat Club has been scheduled for the evening of Monday November 19, 2007 at the clubhouse. This meeting was postponed from the normal date of November 5 due to unavoidable circumstances.
Please note that our last meeting was inadvertently referred to as the quarterly meeting which was an error.
We have several important issues to address aside from the several general purpose topics to be covered, such as:Our Treasurer’s ReportPaid membership status and plans and efforts to complete dues collections outstandingContinuing and developing plans for a new clubhouse which we are proposing to construct early next yearWork and project progress report following our recent fall workdays Plans and proposals for improving our club web site., and specifically the web site contentA discussion on the possibility of prorating membership dues in the first year for new members joining late in the year,to encourage membership applications (it appears our bylaws already provide for pad/davit proration) And other important items.
We hope to see you there, remember Monday November 19, 2007 at 7:30 PM. We value your opinions and input so please help us continue the momentum for progress that we have begun this year.
