At WRBC, races are held every Saturday, with the first gun scheduled for 10:30AM. In the winter series (Dec., Jan., and Feb.), the first gun is at noon. Predominately, the Butterfly class has 7-15 boats on the line.
Occasional guests are welcome. Show up at the White Rock Boat Club an hour before races and see if a boat is available to borrow.
On the lake, the Flying Scot Class and other centerboard boats race every Sunday, with the first gun scheduled at 1:30 PM. Please check the CSC web site for up to date instructions.
Those who race regularly should become at least an associate member of either the WRBC or CSC.
Recently, Lasers have been racing with us. Any single-handed board boat is welcome on the starting line. For the moment only Butterflies are 'officially' scored.
WRBC hosts the annual Butterfly regatta--The Wrangle Regatta--in June. Check back soon for further posting of the N.O.R. and Sailing Instructions.
