By now everyone should have received our Fall Newsletter which included a notice near the bottom regarding our Pier Party to be held this coming Friday Evening 10/3 at the pier starting at 7:30 PM.
As the notice stated, the club will furnish the meats, and our valued new member, Bob Pingel will be doing the cooking for all. It was suggested that attending members bring a side dish to share, as well as drinks for their own group.
We need to be able to estimate the number of people who plan to be in attendance so Bob can order and prepare the chickens, burgers etc., so we asked that you RSVP to help us plan for the occasion and know how much to order. The Newsletter gave Bob's EMail address but if you will simply reply to this EMail to me I will pass the information along to Bob and the rest of the Board. It would be appreciated if you could reply by Wednesday night so that we can make our plans. If possible a side comment regarding your planned side dish or desert might help if it looks like we need to balance it out somewhat. Also please mention the number in your party.
I hope to see as many of you there as possible as we inaugurate our great new clubhouse and I personally wish to thank all those responsible for our outstanding progress in the past year. Besides the new club house and pier. we have welcomed approximately 20 new members in this period, an increase in membership also of approx 20%.. I think that is real progress.....Thanks to everyone who participated.
